How many countries have their own language?

It's impossible to give a definitive answer to how many countries have their own language. Here's why:

* Defining "language" is complex: What constitutes a distinct language vs. a dialect is often debated.

* Official vs. spoken languages: Many countries have official languages, but citizens may speak other languages more commonly.

* Multiple official languages: Some countries have multiple official languages.

However, we can offer some insights:

* Over 200 languages are spoken by at least a million people. This gives an idea of the scale of language diversity.

* Many smaller languages are spoken in fewer countries. It's difficult to know exactly how many countries use them exclusively.

It's more accurate to say that there are many countries with their own official languages, but the exact number is hard to quantify due to the complex nature of language.
