Greek latin and Hindi are languages based on what language?

That's a great question, but it's not quite accurate to say Greek, Latin, and Hindi are all based on the *same* language. They are all Indo-European languages, meaning they share a common ancestor language that existed thousands of years ago. However, within Indo-European, they belong to different branches:

* Greek: Belongs to the Hellenic branch of Indo-European, which also includes ancient languages like Mycenaean Greek.

* Latin: Belongs to the Italic branch of Indo-European, which includes other Romance languages like Spanish, French, and Italian.

* Hindi: Belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of Indo-European, which includes other languages like Sanskrit, Punjabi, Bengali, and Marathi.

So, while they all share a distant common ancestor, they have evolved separately for thousands of years, leading to significant differences in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
