What are the 3 types of pang-ugnay?

There are actually four types of pang-ugnay in Tagalog, not three. They are:

1. Pang-ugnay na panlinaw (Clarifying connectors)

2. Pang-ugnay na panukoy (Defining connectors)

3. Pang-ugnay na panghalip (Pronoun connectors)

4. Pang-ugnay na pang-angkop (Conjunctions)

Let me explain each type briefly:

* Pang-ugnay na panlinaw (Clarifying connectors): These connectors are used to clarify or explain something further. Examples include: "ibig sabihin," "sa madaling salita," "halimbawa," "o kaya," "at saka," "kasi," "kaya," "dahil," "para," and "upang."

* Pang-ugnay na panukoy (Defining connectors): These connectors are used to define or specify something. Examples include: "ibig sabihin," "ay," "na," "ngunit," "pero," "subalit," and "gayunman."

* Pang-ugnay na panghalip (Pronoun connectors): These connectors are used to refer to something that has already been mentioned. Examples include: "siya," "ito," "iyon," "ganito," and "gayon."

* Pang-ugnay na pang-angkop (Conjunctions): These connectors are used to join words, phrases, or clauses together. Examples include: "at," "o," "ngunit," "pero," "subalit," "gayunman," "kung," and "kapag."

It's important to note that some connectors can fall into multiple categories depending on their context.
