How many regions in visayas?

The Visayas region of the Philippines is divided into 8 regions:

1. Western Visayas (Region VI)

2. Central Visayas (Region VII)

3. Eastern Visayas (Region VIII)

4. Negros Island Region (Region XVIII) (This region was previously part of Region VI but was separated in 2014. However, it was later re-integrated into Region VI in 2017.)

Therefore, the Visayas region has 3 distinct administrative regions: Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and Eastern Visayas.
