Which countries speak Africaans?

Afrikaans is primarily spoken in South Africa, where it is an official language.

While it is not an official language in other countries, Afrikaans is also spoken by smaller communities in:

* Namibia: Afrikaans is spoken by a significant portion of the Namibian population, particularly in the north.

* Botswana: Some communities in Botswana, particularly those near the South African border, also speak Afrikaans.

* Zimbabwe: Afrikaans is spoken by a smaller group of people, mainly in areas with a history of South African influence.

* Other countries: Afrikaans is also spoken in small numbers in other countries, including Australia, the Netherlands, and the United States, mainly by descendants of South African immigrants.

It's important to note that while Afrikaans is spoken in these countries, it is not considered an official language except in South Africa.
