How large is the Yoruba tribe?

It's difficult to give a precise number for the size of the Yoruba tribe. This is due to a few factors:

* Diverse Geographic Distribution: Yoruba people are found across a wide geographical area, including Nigeria, Benin, Togo, and even parts of Brazil.

* Varying Definitions: There are different ways to define who is considered "Yoruba." Some definitions include only those who speak the Yoruba language, while others might also include those who identify culturally as Yoruba.

* Data Availability: Census data in these regions might not always be accurate or up-to-date.

However, estimates suggest that the Yoruba population is one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa. Some estimates place the total number of Yoruba people at around 40 million.

Keep in mind that this is just an estimate, and the actual number could be higher or lower.
