How many badwords are there?

It's impossible to say definitively how many "bad words" there are. Here's why:

* What's considered "bad" is subjective: What's offensive in one culture or time period might not be in another.

* Words evolve: Words can change meaning over time. A word that was once considered offensive might become neutral or even positive.

* Context matters: The same word can be offensive in one context and perfectly acceptable in another.

* There's no official list: There isn't a universally recognized list of bad words.

Rather than focusing on a number, it's more important to be aware of the potential impact of your language and to be respectful of others.
