Five Sanskrit Slokas on Knowledge:
1. ज्ञानं न क्रीणीते, न च हृणाति, न च ददाति, स्वतः प्राप्यते सताम्।
* Transliteration: Jñānam na krīṇīte, na ca hṛṇāti, na ca dadāti, svataḥ prāpyate satām.
* Translation: Knowledge cannot be bought, nor can it be stolen, nor can it be given. It is attained by the righteous on their own.
2. विद्या ददाति विनयम्।
* Transliteration: Vidya dadāti vinayam.
* Translation: Knowledge gives humility.
3. अविद्यायां न विद्या, विद्यायां न विद्या।
* Transliteration: Avidyāyām na vidyā, vidyāyām na vidyā.
* Translation: There is no knowledge in ignorance, and there is no knowledge in knowledge itself.
4. ज्ञानं बलं महत्त्वाच्च, ज्ञानं धर्मश्च सर्वदा।
* Transliteration: Jñānam balam mahattvaācca, jñānam dharmaśca sarvadā.
* Translation: Knowledge is strength due to its importance, and knowledge is always righteousness.
5. ज्ञानं प्रकाशयति नः, अज्ञानं तमसाधिता।
* Transliteration: Jñānam prakāśayati naḥ, ajñānam tamasādhitā.
* Translation: Knowledge illuminates us, while ignorance is shrouded in darkness.
