How many types of punctuation marks can end a sentence?

There are four main types of punctuation marks that can end a sentence:

1. Period (.) - Used for declarative sentences (statements) and some imperative sentences (commands).

2. Question mark (?) - Used for interrogative sentences (questions).

3. Exclamation point (!) - Used for exclamatory sentences (expressions of strong emotion) and some imperative sentences (commands).

4. Ellipsis (...) - Used to indicate an omission or a trailing off of thought. While not typically used to end a sentence, it can be used to mark a sudden stop or break in a sentence.

So, depending on how you interpret "end a sentence," there are either four or five punctuation marks that can do so.
