Where are helping verbs found?

Helping verbs, also known as auxiliary verbs, are found before the main verb in a sentence. They help to form verb tenses, voice, and mood.

Here are some examples:

* I am going to the store. (Helping verb "am" + main verb "going")

* She has been studying all night. (Helping verbs "has" and "been" + main verb "studying")

* He could have gone to the party. (Helping verbs "could" and "have" + main verb "gone")

Some common helping verbs include:

* be (am, is, are, was, were, been, being)

* have (has, have, had)

* do (do, does, did)

* can, could, may, might, must, shall, will, would, should

Remember that helping verbs can be used in combination to create more complex verb phrases.
