What does the word orderliness mean to you when can say that house is in order?

When I say a house is in order, it means:

* Cleanliness: The house is free of clutter, dirt, and dust. It's not necessarily spotless, but it's clean enough to be comfortable and inviting.

* Functionality: The house is set up to function efficiently. Everything is accessible and easy to use.

* Peacefulness: The overall atmosphere of the house is calm and peaceful. There's a sense of order and control that contributes to a relaxed environment.

In essence, "orderliness" in a house is about creating a sense of harmony and efficiency through organization, cleanliness, and a functional layout. It's not about perfection, but about a space that is welcoming, comfortable, and conducive to living.
