Who first invented A plus language?

The A+ programming language was developed by Arthur Whitney at APL*Plus in the late 1970s.

It was based on the earlier language APL (A Programming Language) created by Kenneth Iverson in the 1960s. Arthur Whitney's innovation was to add several new features to APL, making it easier to use and more powerful.
