Why is french spoken in Cuba?

French is not spoken widely in Cuba. The official language of Cuba is Spanish.

While there might be some pockets of French speakers in Cuba due to:

* Historical connections: Cuba was a Spanish colony, and its language and culture are largely influenced by Spain.

* Migration: Some individuals from French-speaking countries might have migrated to Cuba over the years.

* Tourism: French tourists visit Cuba, leading to interactions with locals.

However, these factors don't make French a widely spoken language in Cuba. Spanish is the dominant language used in daily life, government, education, and media.
