Where did corilander originate?

Coriander originates from the Mediterranean region and the Middle East.

It's thought to have been cultivated in these areas for thousands of years, with archaeological evidence suggesting its use as early as 3000 BC.

Interestingly, while we now mostly associate coriander with its seeds (which are used as a spice), ancient civilizations primarily utilized the leaves, which are also known as cilantro.
