What is the language from which Indo-European came?

The language from which Indo-European came is called Proto-Indo-European. This is a reconstructed language, meaning it is not attested in any written form. Linguists have reconstructed it by comparing the shared features of the various Indo-European languages and working backwards to their common ancestor.

We don't know exactly when Proto-Indo-European was spoken, but estimates range from about 4500 to 2500 BCE. It is believed to have been spoken somewhere in the Pontic-Caspian steppe, a region north of the Black Sea.

Proto-Indo-European gave rise to a vast family of languages spoken across Europe, Asia, and parts of the Americas, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Russian, and Persian.
