Who invented the Spanish language?

The Spanish language didn't have a single inventor. It evolved over centuries from a complex mix of influences:

* Latin: The foundation of Spanish is Vulgar Latin, the everyday language spoken by Romans in the Iberian Peninsula.

* Arabic: After the Muslim conquest of Spain (711-1492), Arabic words and grammatical structures influenced the developing language.

* Indigenous Languages: While the influence is smaller than Arabic, various languages spoken by indigenous populations in Spain also contributed to vocabulary and pronunciation.

* Other Romance Languages: Spanish has shared influences with other Romance languages like Portuguese, Catalan, and French.

So, instead of an "inventor," it's more accurate to think of Spanish as a language that emerged and evolved organically over time, shaped by the interactions and influences of different cultures and languages.
