Where did the wolastoqiyik live?

The Wolastoqiyik (also known as Maliseet) traditionally lived in the St. John River Valley of what is now New Brunswick, Canada, and parts of Maine and Quebec in the United States.

Their territory stretched along the St. John River and its tributaries, including the Madawaska, Tobique, and Miramichi Rivers. They also lived along the coast of the Bay of Fundy.
