Where is romansh spoken?

Romansh is spoken primarily in the canton of Graubünden (Grisons) in Switzerland, specifically in the southeastern part of the canton.

It is a Romance language related to Italian, French, and Spanish, but with unique features. There are five main dialects:

* Sursilvan

* Sutsilvan

* Surmiran

* Puter

* Vallader

While Romansh is officially recognized as one of Switzerland's four national languages, it has a relatively small number of speakers (about 40,000), mainly concentrated in the valleys of Graubünden.
