What part of speech is story?

"Story" can be several parts of speech, depending on how it's used in a sentence:

* Noun: This is the most common usage. It refers to a narrative, a tale, or a sequence of events.

* Example: "She told us a story about her childhood."

* Adjective: This is less common, but "story" can describe something related to narratives.

* Example: "The book had story elements that were quite fantastical."

* Verb: "Story" can also be a verb, meaning to tell a story or to make something up.

* Example: "He storied about his adventures in the jungle."
