Where is the Frisian language spoken?

Frisian is spoken in the following regions:

* Netherlands:

* West Frisian: Primarily spoken in the province of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands, as well as in parts of Groningen and North Holland.

* Saterland Frisian: Spoken in the Saterland region in Lower Saxony, Germany.

* Germany:

* North Frisian: Spoken on the islands and coastal areas of North Frisia in Schleswig-Holstein.

* Saterland Frisian: Spoken in the Saterland region in Lower Saxony.

* Denmark:

* North Frisian: Spoken on the island of Föhr and the peninsula of Nordstrand in Schleswig-Holstein.

So, while the language is primarily associated with the Netherlands, it's also spoken in parts of Germany and Denmark, particularly in areas with historical and cultural ties to the Frisian people.
