Is there a past tense of the word born?

The word "born" is already in the past tense. There is no separate past tense form of "born."

Here's why:

* "Born" is a past participle used to describe the act of being brought into existence.

* The present tense of "born" is "bear".

Therefore, we say:

* She was born in 1990. (past tense)

* She bears a striking resemblance to her mother. (present tense)
