How many languages were spoken on the Day of Pentecost?

The Bible doesn't specify an exact number of languages spoken on the Day of Pentecost. It simply states that "every nation under heaven" was represented, and each person heard the disciples speaking in their own language.

This implies that the number of languages was very large, representing the diversity of the known world at that time. It's impossible to know for sure how many languages existed then, but it could easily have been in the hundreds or even thousands.
