Where did case ih originate from?

Case IH's origins can be traced back to the merger of two iconic American agricultural machinery companies:

* J.I. Case Threshing Machine Company: Founded in 1842 by Jerome Increase Case in Racine, Wisconsin.

* International Harvester Company: Founded in 1902 through a merger of several companies, including McCormick Harvesting Machine Company.

The two companies merged in 1985 to form Case IH, creating one of the largest agricultural equipment manufacturers in the world.
