Who created the braille language?

The Braille language was created by Louis Braille.

He was a French educator and inventor who lost his sight at the age of three. He developed the system while working at the National Institute for Blind Youth in Paris. It was based on a system of night writing used by the French army, but Braille simplified and adapted it to create the system we know today.
