Is half-caste written in first person?

The story "Half-Caste" by V.S. Naipaul is not written in first person. It is told in third person limited, meaning that the narrator is external to the story and has limited knowledge of the thoughts and feelings of the characters. The story primarily focuses on the perspective of the unnamed protagonist, but we do not have access to his thoughts or feelings directly. We see him through the eyes of the narrator.
