Who made the English language?

The English language wasn't "made" by a single person. It evolved over centuries through a complex process of:

* Migration and invasion: Angles, Saxons, and Jutes from Germanic tribes brought their languages to Britain, forming the basis of Old English.

* Borrowing and influence: Viking raids introduced Norse words, and Norman Conquest brought in French, Latin, and Greek influences.

* Language change: Words evolved, grammar shifted, and new vocabulary emerged through cultural interactions, technological advancements, and social trends.

In summary: English has no single "maker." It's a tapestry woven from contributions of various cultures, languages, and historical events.
