What languages are spoken in Czechoslovakia?

Czechoslovakia no longer exists. It dissolved peacefully into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on January 1, 1993.

* Czech Republic: The official language is Czech.

* Slovakia: The official language is Slovak.

While both languages are similar, they are distinct and not mutually intelligible.
