Is it I or me correct grammar?

It depends on the sentence! Here's how to figure it out:

* "I" is used as the subject of a sentence. This means it's the one performing the action.

* Example: I went to the store.

* "Me" is used as the object of a sentence. This means it's receiving the action.

* Example: My mom gave the present to me.

Here are some more examples:

* Correct: It's me! (The object of the sentence)

* Correct: I am going to the park. (The subject of the sentence)

* Correct: My friend and I went to the movies. (Part of the compound subject)

* Correct: He gave the book to me. (The object of the preposition "to")

Tip: If you're unsure, try replacing "I" or "me" with "he" or "him." If "he" sounds right, use "I." If "him" sounds right, use "me."
