Are you Caucasian if are Portuguese?

It's not accurate to say that being Portuguese automatically means being Caucasian. Here's why:

* Caucasian is a racial category: It's a broad term referring to people from Europe, the Middle East, and parts of North Africa.

* Portugal's history and population: Portugal has a long history of cultural exchange and immigration. While the majority of Portuguese people are of European descent, there are also people of African, Asian, and mixed heritage.

* Race is a social construct: Race is not a fixed biological category. It's a social construct that has been used to categorize people based on physical characteristics, often for purposes of power and control.

Instead of using terms like "Caucasian," it's more accurate to say someone is Portuguese.

It's important to avoid making assumptions about people's race or ethnicity based solely on their nationality.
