Does man or Manu have a Greek Latin root?

Neither "man" nor "Manu" have direct Greek or Latin roots. Here's why:

* "Man" originates from Proto-Germanic *manniz*, which itself comes from the Proto-Indo-European root *men-*, meaning "human being".

* "Manu" is a Sanskrit word, meaning "man" or "human being" in Hinduism. It has roots in the Indo-Aryan language family.

Therefore, both "man" and "Manu" have roots in ancient Indo-European languages, but not in Greek or Latin.
