concern一词含义丰富，包括:
※ conern可以作名词，也可以作动词。
l)作为不可数名词，表示“关心;关怀;焦急;忧虑”。如:
There is now considerable concern for their illness.现在，他们的疾病让人十分忧虑。
2)作为可数名词，表示“有关…的事;对某人来说最重要或最感兴趣的事”。如:That's my concern, so I'll doas I like about it.那是我的事，所以，我想怎么做就怎么做。

3)作为动词，表示“关系到;使担心”。如:
It is reported that the pop singer is concerned with selling drugs.据报道，那个流行歌手涉嫌贩毒。
The boy's poor performance at school concerned his parents.这个男孩在学校表现很差，对此他父母很担心。
※ 除了本句中提到的be concerned with之外，与concern有关的短语还有:concern oneselfwith/in/about sth.“忙于某事;关心某事”。如:
There's no need to concern yourself with this matter; we're dealing with it.你不用管这事，我们正在处理。
此外，还有so/as far as...be concerned“就……来说”。如:
