本句是由but连接的表转折关系的并列句。第一个分句的主干为bills piled up,短语along with引导伴随状语;第二个分句的主干是it took complaints, from her four daughters为后置定语，before引导的是时间状语从句，其中还包含realized的宾语从句she had a problem。
