What is the definition of suffixprefix -ize?

There's no such thing as a suffixprefix "-ize". You might be thinking of the suffix "-ize".

The suffix "-ize" is used to:

* Turn nouns or adjectives into verbs:

* Example:

* "Modern" (adjective) -> "Modernize" (verb)

* "Hospital" (noun) -> "Hospitalize" (verb)

* Create verbs that mean "to make something like" or "to treat something as":

* Example:
