Do you read Arabic back to front?

That's a common misconception! Arabic is written from right to left, not back to front.

Here's why that might be confusing:

* Numbers: Arabic numbers are written from left to right, just like in English. This can lead to the impression that the entire language is read that way.

* The script: Arabic script has a flowing, cursive style, and the letters can connect in complex ways. This can make it difficult to distinguish individual letters, especially for someone unfamiliar with the language.

So, remember: Arabic is written from right to left, just like Hebrew.
