Does the word Arabic have to be capitalized in a paragraph?

The capitalization of "Arabic" depends on the context:

Capitalization is generally required when:

* Referring to the language: "Arabic is a Semitic language spoken by over 400 million people."

* Referring to the people: "The Arab world is a diverse region with many cultures."

* Referring to a specific country or region: "The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates."

* Referring to a proper noun that includes "Arabic": "The Arabic numerals are widely used in the world."

Capitalization is not required when:

* Referring to the language in a general sense: "They speak a language similar to Arabic."

* Referring to a specific characteristic of the language: "The Arabic alphabet is a beautiful script."

In short, you should capitalize "Arabic" when it refers to the language, the people, or a specific place or entity. Otherwise, lowercase is appropriate.
