What does italiciized mean?

"Italiciized" means to be written in *italics*.

Italics are a type of typeface where the characters are slanted, like this: *Hello, world!*

Here are some common uses of italics:

* Titles of books, movies, plays, albums, etc. *The Lord of the Rings*

* Names of ships, aircraft, and spacecraft. The *USS Enterprise*

* Words or phrases that are emphasized. *This is important.*

* Foreign words and phrases. *Schadenfreude*
