1. Start with a question word (if applicable):
* Who: Used for the subject of the sentence (the person or thing doing the action).
* What: Used for the object of the sentence (the thing being acted upon) or for descriptions.
* Where: Used for location.
* When: Used for time.
* Why: Used for reason.
* How: Used for the manner in which something is done.
* Which: Used for choice.
2. Invert the subject and verb:
* Example:
* Declarative: "The dog barks loudly."
* Interrogative: "Does the dog bark loudly?"
3. Add a question mark at the end.
Examples:
* Declarative: The sun is shining.
* Interrogative: Is the sun shining?
* Declarative: They went to the park.
* Interrogative: Where did they go?
* Declarative: He likes pizza.
* Interrogative: What does he like?
Important Note:
* Some declarative sentences don't require a question word. You only need a question word if you are asking about a specific aspect of the sentence.
* If the sentence is in the negative, you need to change it to the affirmative before inverting the subject and verb. For example: "He doesn't like pizza." becomes "Does he like pizza?"
