How do you say thank in sign language?

The sign for "thank you" in American Sign Language (ASL) is a combination of two signs:

1. "Thank": Start with your dominant hand in a "5" handshape, palm facing you. Bring the hand forward and down, then turn your palm outward, and finish with your hand in a "flat" position.

2. "You": Bring your non-dominant hand up to your chest, palm facing you, and tap it with your dominant hand.

To sign "thank you" together: Perform the "thank" sign, then immediately follow with the "you" sign.

Note: The sign for "thank you" can be modified slightly depending on the context. For example, you might use a different facial expression or add a slight nod of the head.
