Who was the first person to say word hi?

It's impossible to know who said "hi" first! Here's why:

* Language is ancient: Spoken language predates written records by thousands of years. There's no way to document who said what first in the distant past.

* "Hi" is a relatively modern word: While greetings have existed for as long as humans have communicated, the word "hi" didn't appear in English until around the 19th century.

* Greetings evolve: Languages and greetings constantly change over time. The "hi" we use today might have evolved from many different sounds and words used by people in the past.

So, while we can't pinpoint the first person to say "hi," it's fun to think about how greetings have evolved and the importance they play in our daily lives!
