What part of speech is reach?

"Reach" can be several parts of speech depending on how it's used in a sentence:

* Verb: This is the most common use. It describes the action of extending towards something or attaining a destination.

* Example: "The child reached for the cookie jar."

* Noun: This is less common but can refer to the distance something can extend or the extent of influence.

* Example: "The reach of her voice was incredible."

* Adjective: This is even less common but describes something that is able to reach far.

* Example: "The reach of his arm was impressive."

To determine the part of speech, you need to examine its role in the sentence.
