What part of speech is observation?

"Observation" can be several parts of speech depending on how it's used in a sentence:

* Noun: This is the most common use. It refers to the act of noticing or perceiving something.

* Example: "Her observation of the bird's behavior was meticulous."

* Verb: This is less common but possible, meaning to notice or perceive something.

* Example: "The scientist observed the cells under the microscope."

* Adjective: This is very rare, but technically possible. It would mean "related to observation."

* Example: "This is an observation room."
