Is hate an abstract noun or a common noun?

"Hate" is an abstract noun.

Here's why:

* Abstract nouns refer to concepts, ideas, feelings, or qualities that cannot be touched or seen. Hate is a feeling, an emotion, and not a physical object.

* Common nouns refer to general things or people. Examples are "cat," "dog," "person," "table," etc.

Since "hate" is an intangible feeling, it falls into the category of abstract nouns.
