Is foreshadow a verb noun or an adjective?

"Foreshadow" can be both a verb and a noun.

Verb: To foreshadow means to hint at or suggest something that will happen in the future.

* Example: The dark clouds foreshadowed a coming storm.

Noun: Foreshadowing refers to the literary device of hinting at future events.

* Example: The author's use of foreshadowing was masterful, keeping readers on the edge of their seats.

It is not an adjective.
