Is birds a countable or uncountable noun?

"Birds" is a countable noun.

Here's why:

* You can count birds: You can say "one bird," "two birds," "three birds," etc.

* It takes a plural form: The plural of "bird" is "birds".

* It can be used with numbers: "There are 5 birds in the tree."

Uncountable nouns, on the other hand, cannot be counted individually (e.g., water, air, advice).
