Is a table verb or noun an adjective?

"Table" can be both a noun and a verb. It's not an adjective.

Noun:

* A piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs. ("We sat at the table to eat.")

* A list of information, usually in rows and columns. ("The table shows the sales figures for the past year.")

Verb:

* To put something aside for later consideration. ("We tabled the motion until the next meeting.")

* To place something on a table. ("She tabled the book on the coffee table.")
