Is tea a countable or uncountable noun?

Tea can be both a countable and uncountable noun, depending on the context.

Uncountable:

* When referring to tea as a beverage, it's uncountable:

* "I like to drink tea in the mornings."

* "Would you like some tea?"

Countable:

* When referring to different types of tea, or individual servings of tea, it's countable:

* "I tried a new tea today - it was a green tea with jasmine."

* "I had three teas while I was working."

In general, if you're talking about tea as a general drink, use the uncountable form. If you're talking about specific types or servings, use the countable form.
