What is dew in collective noun?

There isn't a specific collective noun for dew. While we can use collective nouns for other things like "a flock of birds" or "a herd of elephants," dew is generally described as a "layer" or "sheen" rather than a collection of individual entities.

Here are some examples:

* "A layer of dew covered the grass."

* "The morning sun glistened off the sheen of dew on the leaves."

You could also use "drops" if you are referring to the individual droplets of dew, but this doesn't quite capture the overall effect of dew covering a surface.
